dota 2 edge panning issue

i have been playing dota 2 again recently.

after updating macos to tahoe, i started having an issue where moving the cursor toward the top of the screen (edge panning) no longer moved the camera.

quitting and rejoining the game fixed the issue, but it took a long time.

here's how i fix dota 2 edge panning issue now, though not a permanent fix.

settings -> video -> display -> resolution

1. change use my monitor's current resolution to use advanced settings

2. change display mode temporarily from desktop-friendly fullscreen to exclusive fullscreen -> apply

3. change it back to use my monitor's current resolution

done.
