what nice people have in common

after i started working in a private hospital, i have encountered a few really nice patients, people who are kind, appreciative, calm and relaxed.

conversations quickly reveal what they do or did.

each time i meet one of these people, i have picked up a habit of asking what their job was or is, out of curiosity.

some had very successful careers, but not all of them did. but one thing i have found in common among these nice people is that they "loved their job".

is it their personalities that made them love what they did, or are they happy because they happened to spend about one-third of their waking life enjoying what they do?
